I love it when we have stamp club! It has allowed me to make great friends and have fun creating! One of the projects we worked on this month is this: (my apologies on the quality of the pictures, using a phone camera while I try to search for my charger for my "real" camera).

Its an all in one box.

The lid is part of the box so you'll never lose your top!

Thankful

There is just something special about miniature things. They are just too darn cute!! Well that being said,  I wanted to make a banner for Thanksgiving and look what I made?

Sorry about the quality of the picture.

I just had so much fun with this and was very easy to make. I got the inspiration from a Christmas banner displayed in the Stampin' Success, a monthly magazine sent to demonstrators. I'd have to say that's another perk of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator besides the great discounted products. Don't let this promotion pass you by. No penalties if you decide to drop out but why would you? Click here for more details.

Explosion Birthday Cake

How do you celebrate a 50th birthday and show them how special they are? With this is:

The card looks like a box:

And then, you open the lid and POOF:

On three of the sides, I either wrote a message or stamped greetings for the birthday girl. Then on the one side left, I attached a gift card.

I just loved making this card. I felt like a baker only my medium was paper instead of butter cream and fondant! Doesn't the birthday topping look like white chocolate? Yummy!

Starter Kit Special

This is HUGE!! If you've EVER thought of becoming a demonstrator or just wanted to get the PERKS from Stampin' Up!, then this is for you!!!

(click on picture for larger view)

The starter kit which is valued over $300 is usually priced at $175. BUT ONLY from November 15 -30, 2010 can you get it for $87.50. That's 50% off the price and you get the complete set...its not a mini version but the FULL set. And if you've been a Stampin' Up! customer for ages and have some or all of the items in the starter kit, you can substitute similar/like items of equal price or less. This is an amazing opportunity at an amazing price! (Can you tell how excited I am about this?)

To keep the demonstrator benefits, you only need to submit $300 in sales per quarter. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up!® workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20 percent discount and commission. The best part too is that if you decide to join as a hobby demonstrator, Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the $300 quarterly sales minimum.

Stampin’ Up! provides dozens of training resources filled with project ideas and tips to help you run every aspect of your business, including a monthly publication called Stampin’ Success, Demonstrator Support agents, a demonstrator only web site, hundreds of samples, annual and seasonal catalogs, a training DVD, the Demonstrator Manual, and a Product Guide.

You may choose to stop at anytime, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders. However, there are many benefits to remaining an active demonstrator.

If you have any questions about Stampin’ Up! or becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, please contact me. I'd love to have you join my team and become a Creative Soul.

Wicked Cool Royal Blog Tour

Welcome all ye travelers! Welcome to my humble abode: Stamp Ink Diva! Halloween has passed but the fun projects have not. May I entice you to use this Wicked Cool Stamp Set (118738-(W) wood mount/120600-(C) clear mount ) for next year's creations and maybe even convince you to use it for the upcoming holidays?
(When I first signed up to do this tour, all I could think of was Halloween and forgot that the tour would be after that! Reminder for next year...look at the dates before I sign up! LOL)

So, I decided to share some ideas that could be used for Halloween and for other holidays.

Let's begin with this:

Some of my favorite things include cupcakes, ribbon, and buttons. So naturally, this project was a delight to make. This entails using our gorgeous ribbon as the icing and our Wicked Cool Stamp set as our cherry on top! Here's a closer look at the button spider:

What's more wicked than a cupcakeful of chocolate kisses inside?

For my next project, I wanted to share some other uses for this Wicked Cool set.

Isn't it cute? I used the Playful Pieces Set to make this present and changed up the colors to make this witch into an elf!

And then, what do you think of this:

Now the witch is dressed like "mrs. claus" and bearing this sign:

I'd love to hear what you thought of my projects. Please leave me a comment and your email address to be entered into my blog candy drawing. (If you don't feel comfortable leaving your email address in the comment section, please feel free to contact me.) Also, my apologies to my fellow demonstrators but this blog candy is only for NON-demonstrators and US Residents only.

What is this blog candy?
A Stampin' Up! Reusable bag with the Holiday Hoopla -Clear Mount Stamp Set.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the tour! (You can go to http://www.theroyalblogtour.net/ to enjoy the projects if you missed the tour.)

San Francisco Women's Half Marathon

Let me tell you about a special Half Marathon that I participated last month. It was the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. It was also hosted by Tiffany's. (Yes...the beautiful store with the pretty blue gift boxes!!) But we didn't just do it for the Tiffany necklace, the race benefited the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

It was just an amazing experience. First off, our group (45 women AKA The Real Runningwives of the Inland Empire) was randomly selected to be among 20,000 + runners. Then, after you register and go to Union Square (in San Francisco), Nike posted all the names of participants. Do you see my name?

Then, of course, we shopped our hearts out to get souvenirs and more souvenirs.

After we finished the race, some of the girls got a chance to take some pictures in the photo booth! You'd think we'd be tired after running 13.1 miles but we were all on such a high.

And this is after we had to wait (in cold and rain):

But I have to say it was one of my most favorite and memorable: the friendship that we made, San Francisco beauty (the course was just amazing...hills and all), the food that we ate, and this was all in a 34 hour span!
