Season of Giving

Ya'll know that I love to give and help the Ronald McDonald House Charity. This year, I don't know what happened, but the days are going by way too quickly and I almost forgot! (GASP) So in my desperation, I decided to stamp the mini muslin bags and added the holly and berries embellishments.

The bags were filled with M&Ms and other chocolates. Here's a cute poem I came across for using M&Ms and sharing the Christmas Story.

As you hold these chocolates in your hand, And turn them, You will see.
The M becomes a W, an E, and then a 3.

They tell the Christmas story, It's one I'm sure you know.
It took place in a stable, A long, long, time ago.

The E is for the East, Where the star shone so bright.
The M is for the Manger, Where Baby Jesus slept that night.

The 3 is for the Wisemen, Bearing gifts, they say they came.
W is for Worship, Hallelujah, Praise His Name.

So as you eat these chocolates, Or share them with a friend,
Remember the meaning of Christmas, It's a Love story that never ends.

Christmas Photo Card & My Digital Studio Downloads

Christmas is just around the corner so I wanted to share our Christmas photo card for this year.

(Photo of the card. Couldn't figure out how to directly show you the final product. Forgive the quality please.)

The trend in creating photo cards lately have been with different cut out shapes. I particularly love the new Artisan shape. (Similar to our Note Card Die.)  Now when you order the cards through Stampin' Up!'s professional printer, you have the option of using these shapes. The different shapes can be found in the "bleed" area sections in the My Digital Studio program. After I could see where it would be cut, I then placed the white overlay "peace everywhere". Simple! Finally, I gave the back a colored background, typed my greeting, and voila!

So, what do you think about the facelift on the website? Simple and fresh. (Thanks to Veronica for her help.)

Today's share is a digitally created holiday card. Simple but so fun! Most of the dots were created with the Freeform Tool (Brush Layer). But then, I thought it needed some texture. So using the punch tool, I was able to fill it with designer series paper and resize accordingly.
