Ghiradelli Chocolate Favors

As part of the Ronald McDonald House Charity for Orange County, local Southern California demonstrators and friends get together to make holiday treats for former and current residents of the house. My special friends and customers came and helped me make these wonderful party favors. Very simple, easy, and made with LOTS of love.

  1. Using a variety of colored card stock, we rolled out the boxes with the Big Shot and SU's exclusive  Sizzix XL Bitty Box & Envelope Die.
  2. Placed sticky strips on the 4 small tabs and assembled the box.
  3. After placing three chocolates inside, we decorated the box with a belly band from 1" x 7" designer series paper.
  4. With the Big Shot and Flower Folds Die (another SU Bigz XL exclusive), we rolled out our flower accent for the top. (TIP: To dress up the flowers even more, we ran the card stock through the big shot with texturz plates and embossing folders of various patterns.) Adhere the layers of the flower to each other starting with the larger one with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. We stamped the wide oval image from the Christmas Punch stamp set onto Whisper White card stock and punched out with the coordinating Wide Oval Punch.
  6. Adhered to the center of the flower with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Finally, fluff up the petals to give it more depth.
The package is just as delicious as the contents inside!
