With All My {Heart}

Getting back from Leadership, I came home with some fun new ideas and a blast from the past. Shannon West shared with us some Valentine's Day ideas and one that peaked my interest was this huge heart card. It reminded of me what I used to do in Elementary school (only her sample wasn't elementary). Here is my creation.

The heart folded up and held closed with our fabulous Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon "belly band".

The recipient would then open and unfold to find this:

Simply take a 12" x 12" card stock and fold in half. Cut half of a heart out. Unfold and you have a perfectly symmetrical heart. Next, determine the center of the heart and score 2-3/4" to the left and right of the center. Then, score 2-1/8" to the top and bottom of the center. (Your center should measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".) Decorate the center and refold using the score lines. (Tip: fold the sides in first, then the bottom, and finally the top.)
