Back in Business

I am so thrilled to be back! Thank you for being patient with me and am so thrilled with my new home studio! The clutter has disappeared and I can now find my crafing tools. It was completed just in time for my stamp club.

This month, we focused on Thanksgiving

and Christmas
Can't believe how fast the holidays seem to be approaching!
Fun stuff, isn't it?
Thanks to Jacki Topa for the inspirational punch art card.

Batty for October

September's stamp club focused on some fun ideas for Halloween. We also made a cute 3x3 note card but of course, I can't find it.

I did, however, find this! The idea came from Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up!'s co-founder. We did a more simplified version of her's. (The white specks look more like dust than glitter in the picture.) I plan on filling them with treats as it gets closer to Halloween. If I put them sooner, I'm afraid they'll get eaten (by me)! This is one of the few things I've been able to put up for some decorations around the house (thanks to Laureen). Hope you enjoy!

Christmas Banner

This was so much fun to make! I was really happy with the way it turned out. Its an easy project but it takes time (the stitching that is). But if you did this with paper, you could "faux" stitch onto the scallop circles and voila! This project was completed using my favorite die cutting machine--the Big Shot (by Sizzix and sold now through Stampin' Up!) and the exclusive Pennant Die from Stampin' Up!, large scallop circle, and serif alphabet dies. Think of the endless possibilities you could make with all these wonderful materials! Fun, fun, fun!  Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Banner

I am so thrilled with how my Thanksgiving Banner has turned out. My Big Shot by Sizzix (and now available through Stampin' Up!) made this project soooooo easy! I just love what I can do with this die cutting machine! No stamping or ink but just as fun!
