I've been dancing my way to fitness through Zumba. I even got so crazy with it that I am now a LICENSED Zumba instructor!

If you don't know what that is, it is a workout that is a fusion of Latin dances and aerobics. High energy, high impact, and a whole lot of shaking going on! (And yes, a good Christian girl can shake her booty like the rest of 'em.)

Digital Design and Stampin' Up Promotions

These past couple of weeks have been filled with graduations. Today's share is a digitally designed scrapbook page of my daughter's Kindergarten graduation using the Storybook Ensemble. The title is based on one of the songs that the class sang. "I am a promise. I am a possibility. I am a promise, with a capital P. I am a great big bundle of PO-TEN-TI-AL-I-TY!"  She certainly does have promise and potentiality!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I certainly got spoiled from my friends and family! Today's share is a hybrid (digital and traditional designed) scrapbook. The base of this scrapbook was made with lunch bags and our Stampin' Up! Scrappin' Kit! I was asked by Joelle's teacher to help with a scrapbook to give to the 2nd grade class mothers and this is what we came up with.

Each student folded 2 lunch bags in half, punched holes on the sides, and tied with several ribbons.

Then, we cut the designer paper to size (about 4-1/2" square) and glued onto each page.

In the 2 pockets, the students put in poems and this certificate.

Finally, they decorated the pages with the coordinating "stickers"(coordinating die cuts that are self-adhesive) and added their pictures.

Although I was in the classroom helping, my special book was still a surprise and will be treasured forever!

Digital Design

is a life saver! It not only allows me to keep a digital copy of my favorite stamps and accessories that have retired, but it allows me to quickly create multiple cards, photobooks, and so much more!

I was really excited to see this week's download, Fifty Nifty. My girlfriends and I have committed to traveling to all the 50 states before we turn 50. We've gotten quite a lot of mileage already and look forward to continued memories!

January Stamp Club

What a night! I have too much fun with the girls at stamp club.

Our projects this month were inspired by Valentine's Day projects.

What do you think of this mini heart scrapbook? Thanks to Meg Loven, another SU demonstrator, for the inspiration. As part of the journaling, lyrics were added. You could add more elements but I wanted to keep it simple.

Another fun treat is this "sour cream" goody. SO easy to do and something you could get the kids involved too.

1. Start off with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Designer Series Paper
2. Line the 3 of the edges with Sticky Strip. (2 long sides and 1 short end)
3. Take the short end and adhere to the other short side to create a tube (think: toilet paper roll).
4. Close one end of the opening. Insert candy or other goodies.
5. Close the other open end perpendicular to the first, so it creates a pyramid like container.
6. Crimp the ends.
7. Decorate and voila!
