Happy Belated Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I certainly got spoiled from my friends and family! Today's share is a hybrid (digital and traditional designed) scrapbook. The base of this scrapbook was made with lunch bags and our Stampin' Up! Scrappin' Kit! I was asked by Joelle's teacher to help with a scrapbook to give to the 2nd grade class mothers and this is what we came up with.

Each student folded 2 lunch bags in half, punched holes on the sides, and tied with several ribbons.

Then, we cut the designer paper to size (about 4-1/2" square) and glued onto each page.

In the 2 pockets, the students put in poems and this certificate.

Finally, they decorated the pages with the coordinating "stickers"(coordinating die cuts that are self-adhesive) and added their pictures.

Although I was in the classroom helping, my special book was still a surprise and will be treasured forever!

Love Birds All Around

If you love birds, owls, and just cuteness, this class is for you. Make 18 cards with me in my Stamp Ink Diva Studio with the Love Birds Scrappin' Kit and have enough materials leftover to make duplicates when you get home.
