Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all the mothers out there, A Happy Mother's Day! You matter!!

There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen"! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I certainly got spoiled from my friends and family! Today's share is a hybrid (digital and traditional designed) scrapbook. The base of this scrapbook was made with lunch bags and our Stampin' Up! Scrappin' Kit! I was asked by Joelle's teacher to help with a scrapbook to give to the 2nd grade class mothers and this is what we came up with.

Each student folded 2 lunch bags in half, punched holes on the sides, and tied with several ribbons.

Then, we cut the designer paper to size (about 4-1/2" square) and glued onto each page.

In the 2 pockets, the students put in poems and this certificate.

Finally, they decorated the pages with the coordinating "stickers"(coordinating die cuts that are self-adhesive) and added their pictures.

Although I was in the classroom helping, my special book was still a surprise and will be treasured forever!

Petite Purse

Last night was our Stamp Club and sadly it's coming to an end next month, so I wanted to treat the ladies to a special swap. It's not a Chanel or Louis Vuitton, but this purse is yummy and cute (the kind that makes you squeal because its so cute)! So fun and easy to create with the help of a Big Shot and this BIGZ die which is also a part of the Summer Smooches Suite. I was feeling a little lazy so I didn't stitch the purse but created a faux stitch using the White Gel pen. (They loved it anyway.)

Last night was double fun because I had my downline (and sister-in-law) demonstrate the class. I got to sit and enjoy the class as a participant and create this flowerpot card for Mother's Day.

She was even thoughtful to bring enough supplies to make 2 cards- for mother and mother-in-law. It was a great night and looking forward to seeing everyone again next month.

Designer Series Paper that was used in the project is no longer available but you could easily substitute it. For example, the Attic Boutique would work great!
