My design here is using a few of my favorite things... the new In Colors with the Texture Cuts (wood sheets), a little bit of sewing, and a new technique I'm loving: tearing pieces of paper to create this floral accent.
1. Take the 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"Crushed Curry card stock & fold in half (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
2. Cut 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series paper & layer onto card.
3. Cut Soft Suede card stock into 1-1/2" x 4-1/2".
4. Using the Eyelet Border punch, trim the Soft Suede card stock on one edge and then layer onto card.
5. Take the Old Olive ribbon and make pleats at one side and sew onto the card about an inch from the bottom of the card and trim ends.
6. Cut the wood sheet 2"x 3-1/2" and stamp the Medallion Background stamp inked with Dusty Durango classic ink onto it.
7. Cut Dusty Durango card stock 1-1/2" x 3-1/8". Place the stamped wood sheet onto this layer and then place onto the card.
8. Trim Very Vanilla card stock to 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" and stamp your sentiment onto it using Soft Suede classic ink.
9. Layer this onto Soft Suede card stock (1-7/8" x 2-7/8"), then layer onto Crushed Curry card stock (2" x 3"), and finally place onto card.
10. Tear circles out of card stock (Dusty Durango, Very Vanilla, & Crushed Curry card stock scraps) and layer onto each other to create a flower.
11. Thread twine into the Chocolate Chip button and place in the center of the flower.
12. Place the flower accent onto the card with glue dots and voilá!
