Mirror Mondays--Jar of Happiness

I've scheduled an event where we can make some of the cards that I made at Leadership. If you purchase the bundle through me, the "class" is free. Especially with Valentine's Day tomorrow and my parents' anniversary today (Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad), I really wanted to share this project. Thoughts of the people I love really do bring me Happiness. Wouldn't that be great to share--a jar of happiness?

Mirror Mondays-Leadership Make & Takes

I hope you're not tired from the samples that I have shown you from Leadership because (yes)...I have more to show you! These samples are some of the Make and Takes. If you are interested, I'll be having a class based on these samples using the Mixed Bunch Stamp set. More details can be found on my events page along with other classes and workshops.

I just love this card for all the layers. (Too bad the picture doesn't do it justice.) Another joy of this card is how the stamp set has a coordinating punch. It saves me time and makes my life so much easier. I could go crazy with the layers if I wanted to.

Look at how the Blossom Builder set coordinates so beautifully with the stamp set and punch! Little details make such a difference, don't you think?

Mirror Mondays--Blossom Builders

Are you loving the Occasions Mini Catalog?!

Today's inspiration comes directly from the catalog on pg.18.

I decided to change out the greeting so it fits my purposes, but I have to say how easy and fun this was. The Blossoms Builders Designer Printed Kit comes with oodles of different blossoms and banners that you can layer to your hearts content and exclusive pink rhinestones that come in 2 different sizes.
To recreate this card:

1. Cut the base card (Baja Breeze) to standard size, 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".
2. Run a 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Baja Breeze Card Stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dot Textured Die and adhere toward the left hand side of the card base.
3. Adhere two of the banners onto the polka dot strip.
4. Layer a 1-3/4" Lucky Limeade Circle on top.
5. Adhere a large Blushing Bride blossom with stampin' dimensional.
6. Attach petals made with linen thread to the center of the blossom.
7. Layer a circle center to cover and continue with smaller layers of the blossoms.
8. Finally, finish the center with the large pink rhinestone and add the greeting to the side.
