Today's gift was meant for my friend, Yvonne. She had been ill and was waiting for a lung transplant but before that could come to fruition, she passed away. Too soon! So as I reflect on today's celebration, I feel bittersweet. Sad that my friend passed away but also feeling blessed that our family is ever growing and healthy.

Today was a very special day for our family where we celebrated Sophia's 1st birthday. James has a very BIG extended family and we are all very close. Only problem, we live so far apart that our children hardly get to play with each other. But no matter how long it has been or if they are meeting for the first time, they ALL get along. It is such a blessing!
Birthdays around this time of year also reminds me of why we as Christians celebrate this season. So in honor of birthdays and celebrating life, I'd like to give this Cherry on Top hostess set as today's giveaway.
