Our family took a wonderful vacation to Yosemite and Mammoth, which I can't wait to share more pictures with you. But I had to make this MDS page:
My kids have been fascinated with a show called, Dual Survival. Basically, two men are placed in different scenarios and they teach you how to survive. My kids (including the hubby) decided to show their skills by eating ants. YES, they actually ate an ant for "survival". My baby, however, decided to forgo the delicacy and continue with her fruit snack. My Trio Survivors!
Since my vacation, I've missed sharing with you the latest downloads available for My Digital Studio. So please click here and here.
And don't forget, you've got 2 more days to get your favorite stamps and accessories before they are gone, gone, gone!

Sneek Peak: Array of Sunshine
When I have workshops, I like to thank my hostesses with a little handmade gift. So for Lisa's workshop this past weekend, I made her a little box filled with small note cards using quite a few of the new products for 2011-2012 Catalog. It's also important in how it is presented, so I made a fabric flower brooch and attached it to the top of the box (using our Fun Flowers Die and the Big Shot).
Stamp: Array of Sunshine and Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370-Wood Mount Only)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink Pads.
Paper: Whisper White Card Stock.
Accessories: Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
Lots of fun new products I can't wait to share with you!
Stampin' Up! Promotions:
Last Chance Sale ends June 30th!

Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade & Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral, Pool Party |
- First, you'll notice the colors. They are the new in-colors for this year! My favorite is the Pool Party. I have been waiting for a blue in this shade. It reminds me of a lighter Tiffany blue!!
- Second: the stamp set. Its a new hostess set, Array of Sunshine!

bark, bark, bark (happy we're friends)
I finally made a page with Joelle's letter to Crumpet. Early May, we helped babysit a puppy named Crumpet (donated for our school's fundraiser, a Ladies Tea). He was going to be auctioned off the next day. Well, the kids fell in love with him, especially Joelle. (The one that loves animals but has major allergic reactions to them.) She wrote a letter for Crumpet and after Daddy (and Mommy) saw this letter, we couldn't let her down.
The background of the page is her letter. I used a photo box and used 50% opacity. Then, I layered the stamped title. Layered the photo of my kids. And found the little stamped verse from Man's Best Friend Stamp Set.
You can get your own copy of this week's downloads here.
Glad to say that Joelle's allergic reactions have somewhat diminished and Crumpet is a great addition to our family. Luckily we didn't have to say goodbye.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for some of our Stampin' Up! favorites.
Dates: June 1-30, 2011 (select items while supplies last)
Details
It's time to say goodbye! Hundreds of products from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog and Definitely Decorative brochures are retiring, and now is the time for you to get them before they're gone.

Congratulations to Joe & Melissa
This past Memorial Weekend was quite a busy yet fun-filled weekend for our family. Our cousin's fiance, Melissa, graduated from Loma Linda Medical School. Then, they were married up at Lake Arrowhead the next day. The weather couldn't have been nicer, and the wedding ceremony was just beautiful.
Wedding Card by Instagram App for Iphone |
In honor of their blessed union, I made this wedding card for them. Layered the embossed white card stock onto another white card stock and placed onto the Baja Breeze base. Then, I dazzled the embossed image with Stampin' Up!'s Basic Rhinestone Jewels. Finally, I used the Big Shot with the Fun Flowers die and layered the flower pieces onto each other and finished the center with another Rhinestone Brad.
"May God of love be the heart of their marriage, the light of their home, and the ever-present partner in their new life together."
Congratulations to Joe & Melissa.
